OBA, in partnership with Saint Andrew's Lutheran Church, warmly invite you and your community to a special event that celebrates culture, connection, and the power of interfaith collaboration. "Interfaith for Impact: Uplifting Girls in East Africa" is an opportunity to come together, share stories, and learn how we can all support girls and women in East Africa—especially within the Maasai community—through education and empowerment.

This event offers a welcoming space for open dialogue across faiths, as we explore ways to help young girls build brighter futures and gain freedom from early marriage. Highlights of the event include:

  • A Complimentary Chai & Mandazi Brunch to start the morning, followed by a deliciousand free East African meal for lunch

  • Meet Juliet Cutler, Author of "Lessons in Hope – A New Era for Maasai Women in Tanzania" – a chance to hear from her and get your own signed copy of this inspiring book

  • Stories from Discovery Tour alumni, sharing their impactful experiences from Tanzania

  • A Raffle featuring beautiful Tanzanian items such as shukas, jewelry, and other crafts

  • And much more, including a shared commitment to global connection, cultural understanding, and spiritual enrichment.

This is an excellent opportunity to grow together as a community and to strengthen our collective impact on empowering young girls in East Africa. Whether you are already involved or new to the cause, we would love to have you with us.
